Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

This is Wade Newman.
He, and his friend Eric Weller,
brought a touch of the Carolinas to Frederick
when they opened the Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar.
They wanted a place to have fun, watch sports, and eat good food.

Wade Newman, co-owner
The Shuckin' Shack started in Carolina Beach, NC in 2007,
and now has six franchise locations in the Carolinas,
and one in Frederick, MD.
Victoria, greeted us with a smile. She was a great waitress.
The atmosphere was cozy. There were many TV's for watching sports.
The food was good and prices were reasonable.

The oysters and lobster roll were delicious.
Can't wait to try a steampot.
It's nice to have a seafood restaurant back downtown.

2015 Frederick Pride, OUT on the Creek

When I thought about starting this blog, I thought I would post a photo or two a day, but today, on Carroll Creek, was the 2015 Frederick Pride festival. There is no way I can post so few photographs. I guess my initial rules will be broken. People watching is fun.

Cute couple.

The gentleman with the black umbrella, and his wife,
rescued the sail away umbrella, and returned it to it's owner.

With that look on the child's face, the dog has no chance of getting that lollipop.
